Persons who have an interest in staring their own business are being given an opportunity to learn how to be successful in this area.
The Centre for Enterprise Development, CED, will be collaborating with the Bank of St. Vincent and the Grenadines to host a Business Awareness Seminar here tomorrow.
The one-day seminar will be held under the theme, Getting Ready to Start Your Business.
The training is designed to enable participants to recognize the need for ongoing planning in starting and running a successful business, and to provide participants with the tools to develop an action plan to take
their idea to the next stage.
The sessions will encourage the participants to look at why they are thinking of starting a business and create a business idea and examine whether there is a market for their business/idea.
The sessions will be facilitated by former CED Director and Lecturer at the Sir Arthur Lok Jack School of Business in Trinidad, Dr. Julian Ferdinand.
An opening ceremony for the training will be held from 9:00am tomorrow at the Methodist Church Hall.
