Jamaica defeated St. Vincent and the Grenadines 7-nil in Group “E” of the CONCACAF Caribbean Women’s, Under-17 Football Qualifier at the Arnos Vale Sports Complex here yesterday.
Rochelle Gray opened the scoring for Jamaica in the 8th minute, Jaden Roberts scored in the 21st minute and a penalty by Sydney Clarke in the 44th minute, made it 3-nil by half time.
Rochelle Gray converted her second goal in the 53rd minute. Jody Brown scored a penalty in the 64th minute, Monique Perrier netted in the 72nd minute, and SVG facilitated them with an own goal in the 58th minute.
Jamaica advances to the next round as Group “E” winners having earlier also defeated St. Kitts and Nevis 10-nil. They would join Haiti and other Group winners in Haiti for the next round of the Competition.
The top three teams would qualify for the final Tournament as the CFU Representatives.
