St. Vincent and the Grenadines suffered a 3-1 defeat by St. Kitts and Nevis in their opening match of the CONCACAF Caribbean Women’s Under-17 Football Qualifiers at the Arnos Vale Sports Complex here yesterday afternoon.
The goals for St. Kitts and Nevis Women were scored by JA-SON-NA Williams in the 25th minute and JA-REN-CHIA Jeffers in the 50th minute.
They also benefitted from an own goal scored by St. Vincent and the Grenadines Women in the 26th minute.
St. Vincent and the Grenadines Women’s goal was scored by Sonja Mc Kie in the 86th minute.
Tomorrow, St. Kitts and Nevis will meet Jamaica at 4.00 pm also at the Arnos Vale Sports Complex.
The 3rd and final will be played on Sunday also at 4.00 pm between St. Vincent and the Grenadines and Jamaica.
