Petit Bordel Secondary School won the Girls Division in the first ever Secondary Schools 3×3 Basketball Championship when they beat Troumaca Ontario Secondary School 3-2 at the Girls High School Hard Court on 28th of last month.
The Bequia Community High School emerged Boys Champions after beating George Stephens Secondary School 8-7.
25 teams from 10 Secondary Schools here took part in the two-day event in which 47 games were played.
Each winning School in the Championship was represented with a color laser printer donated by LG Sales Limited.
Players were also recruited to begin training for the 2017 Windward Island School Games later this year.
The Championship was a forerunner to the National Under-18 3×3 Basketball Championship with the winners representing St. Vincent and the Grenadines Federation Antilles Championship later this year.
