Government will continue to address issues relating to the playing of loud music in vehicles used for public transport.
That’s according to Frederick Stephenson, Minister of National Mobilization, who was responding to a question in Parliament on Thursday about the loud and lewd music played in Omni buses.
The Minister said there ought to be public discussion on the issue, noting that loud music can violate a child’s well-being and he hopes that the government comes to an agreed consensus to the way forward with the issue.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves gave the assurance that the Government will be seriously addressing this problem and have some consultations done.
