This year’s Nine Nights of Lights will begin on Thursday from 7pm under the theme “A Botanical Christmas”.
Gordon Shallow, Curator of the Botanic Gardens told NBC News that they will again be holding the activity dubbed Nine Nights of Lights to coincide with the National Christmas and Nine Mornings Festival and this year will see a number of improvements to the program.
He said the program will feature the Botanic Gardens being lighted up on evenings and opened to members of the public with a number of fun activities for people to enjoy on evenings.
Mr. Shallow also outlines what the program will entail this year. He mentioned that they have a packed program and it was designed in a way that each night will be something special or different for all members of the family.
Shallow is also encouraging everyone to support the Botanical Gardens Nine Nights of Lights this year.
Meanwhile, the Coulls Hill Nine Morning Committee is preparing to launch their 2016 presentation tonight.
Myrtle Richards, Chairperson of the Committee said this Tuesday’s launch will begin at 7:00pm under the theme “One Community, One Christ, One Christmas”.
She said preparations are well underway for the launch and they are just asking for the support from the general public.
