The Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force is appealing to Vincentians to work closely with them during the current Christmas season and at all times to eliminate crime and violence in the society.
This appeal was made by Corporal Carla Tim during the Police on the Beat program aired on NBC Radio earlier this week, as they prepare to host the Annual Crime Prevention Exhibition, on December 21st.
Corporal Tim said it is important that Vincentians work closely together with the Police because it is impossible for the Police to be everywhere when crimes are taking place. She noted that persons also have a part to play in the security of their property as well.
Hawkins Nanton, Head of the Police Public Relations and Complaints Department, Inspector is also appealing to members of the public to call the police when they witness incidences of Crime and Violence.
Mr Nanton said that once you give the information you don’t have to give your name, you would have given your information anonymously and it something that they continue to remain the public.
