Prime Minister, Dr. Ralph Gonsalves will be travel to Cuba later today to bid farewell to Cuba’s Former President and his long-time friend Fidel Castro, who died on Friday at the age of 90.
The Prime Minister told reporters today that his wife Eloise and a Member of his Security detail will accompany him to Cuba.
Prime Minister Gonsalves said tomorrow is the big day for the foreign delegations and an event for the Plaisir of the revolution.
Meanwhile, today, the Cuban Embassy located at Villa opened a book of condolences for the public to pay their tributes to the late Cuban former President Fidel Castro.
The book of condolences will remain open until Sunday 4th December – the date set for Castro’s funeral.
