* Toney’s Stores Jugglers gained a 3-nil victory over Primus Mini Mart Largo Height in yesterday afternoon’s Under-17 Division of the COMSPORT/KPMG/Hairoun Arnos Vale Football League at Arnos Vale (2) Playing Field.
The goals were scored by Jahiel Walters (2) and Hershel Burgin (1).
At 4:30 this afternoon, Richmond Hill United and Cato’s Heavy Equipment Strike Force will meet in the second semi-final of the Senior Division also at Arnos Vale (2) Playing Field.
* The Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police are through to League Final of the Senior Division of the Digicel/Aeropost/St. Vincent Brewery Breakaway Firms Invitational Football Championship after beating SVG Port Authority 2-1 on sudden death penalties yesterday afternoon at the Grammar School Playing Field.
The match ended goalless during regulation time and after the first set of five penalty kicks, the scores were level at two all.
The Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police will meet National Fishers Folks in the League Final on Saturday 3rd December.
* No match is scheduled for today, but tomorrow at 4:30 pm, CK Greaves will meet the Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police in a semi-final Knockout match also at the Grammar School Playing Field.
* Last night’s scheduled matches in the SVG Over-35 Masters Football Tournament had to be re-scheduled because of problems with the goal post and marking of the field at Victoria Park.
The matches should have been between defending champions, South Leeward and Calliaqua, Murray Village versus The Expendables and Sion Hill against newcomers North East. The Tournament will continue tomorrow also at Victoria Park.
