The eight Quarter-finalists in this year’s SVG Masters Twenty/20 Cricket Tournament are now known following last weekend’s abandoned final preliminary round of matches.
* North East Masters with 22 points top Group “A”, Stanley Browne’s Stubbs Masters and St. Vincent Co-operative Bank Ptani Masters, both joint second on 20 points, while JG and Sons Glamorgan Masters fourth on 14 points.
* Topping Group “B”, is newcomers Mustique Masters with 24 points, second is defending champions, the Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Masters on 20 points, third COMPUTEC Belfongo Masters with 16 and Sion Hill Masters fourth on 14 points.
* The Quarter-final lineups reads: North East Masters against Sion Hill Masters, Mustique Masters will face JG and Sons Glamorgan Masters, while St. Co-operative Bank Ptani Masters will clash with Belfongo Masters and RSVG Police Masters will come against Stanley Browne’s Stubbs Masters.
* Gairy Construction Simple Boys, Bank of St. Vincent and the Grenadines All Stars, EZ Woods Toppers and Nice Radio Clinchers won matches last weekend in the National Lotteries Authority Top Belair Progressive Organization Twenty/20 Softball Cricket Championship at the Dauphine Playing Field.
