* Defending champions, Year Two Arts, Sciences and General Studies and the Division of Teachers Education Team (2) won the opening matches of this year’s East Caribbean Group of Companies (ECGC) St. Vincent and the Grenadines Community College Netball Championship at the College’s Campus at Villa yesterday.
Year Two Arts, Sciences and General Studies beat the Division of Teacher Education Team (1) 25-24, in a keenly contested Zone (1) encounter.
* The Division of Teacher Education Team (2) then outplayed Year Two Technical and Vocational Education 34-14.
This afternoon at two O’clock, Year One Technical and Vocational Education will meet Year Two Arts, Sciences and General Studies, and at three O’clock, Year Two Technical and Vocational Education will oppose Year One Arts, Sciences and General Studies.
* KFC Strikers defeated Everready Future Stars 23-19 in the Vita Malt Sion Hill Netball Championship at the Hard Court of the Sion Hill Playing Field yesterday.
And, Yanja Young Strugglers had the better of Sion Hill beating them 42-35.
Tomorrow, Sion Hill will play against Owia Trailblazers 6 pm also at the Hard Court of the Sion Hill Playing Field.
