A Church Service will be held here next weekend, to signal the start of a month of activities, organized by the National Society of Persons with Disabilities to mark Disabilities Awareness Month.
The activities will be held from Monday 7th November, to Wednesday 7th December, under the theme: Disability: Together we can Achieve.
A release from the organization said Saturday 3rd December, 2016 marks International Day of Persons with Disabilities.
The opening Church Service will take place on Saturday 12th November, at the Calder Seventh Day Adventist Church commencing at 9:00am.
During the month the Society will focus on “Challenges faced by persons with disabilities in St Vincent and the Grenadines”.
The organization is inviting all persons with disabilities to participate in this month of activities.
