A series of consultations will be held here next week, to develop a framework for consumer protection in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
The consultations are being held to review the Draft Caricom Consumer Protection Bill 2016, and will be hosted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Commerce, in collaboration with the CSME Unit at the CARICOM Secretariat and the OECS Commission.
The sessions will also focus on other Consumer Affairs matters so as to garner feedback on the development of a modern framework for consumer protection in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
The first session will be held at the Barrouallie Community Center, on Monday November 7th from 6:30 p.m., and the second session will take the form of a Media Briefing on Tuesday November 8th at the Kingstown Methodist Church Hall from 6:00 p.m.
The final session will be held on Wednesday November 9th from 6:30 p.m. at the Georgetown Secondary School Auditorium.
