Prime Minister, Dr. Ralph Gonsalves has said that the Fuel Storage Facility at the Argyle International Airport has been completed and testing is expected to be carried out by the middle of this month.
The Prime Minister was giving a response in Parliament on Friday on whether the fuel storage plant is ready to supply large international aircraft.
He said the Fuel Company Rubis has scheduled the testing and commissioning of the facility for November 14th. Rubis has already made adequate arrangements to provide fuel to the fuel storage facility, to supply any size aircraft in the event that the docking facility at Stubbs is not completed in time for the commencement of operations at the Argyle International Airport.
