The Victoria Park will come alive on Wednesday October 26th, as students and teachers gather to join in activities to celebrate this country’s 37th Independence Anniversary.
Marla Nanton, Education Officer with responsibility for Media and Communications, said the Rally was introduced in the 1980s and back then, the Music Department in the Ministry of Education was responsible for the organization of the rally. The event has maintained its format over the years.
Miss Nanton said one of the highlights of the event will be the presentation of the 2016 National Scholarship Awards.
