St. Vincent and the Grenadines is expected to receive its first Cruise Ship call on the 11th November 2016. The Cruise Ship Facility in Kingstown will soon be upgraded and expanded in preparation to welcome our visitors.
Cecil Mc Kie, Minister of Culture said a number of International Cruise Liners are expected to visit to St. Vincent and the Grenadines, during the 2016/2017 Cruise Ship Season. He also added that this year we will welcome to our shores a Cruise Liner of 4000 passengers and expected to have 10 calls from that Cruise Line.
The Tourism Minister stated that so far this country has seen a significant increase in the number of visitor arrivals for two consecutive years and added that he is optimistic that there will be an increase in these arrivals for the next Cruise Ship Season.
