Glen Beache, CEO of the SVG Tourism Authority has commended the National Rivers, Parks and Beaches Authority for its work in ensuring the beaches in St. Vincent & the Grenadines are preserved.
However, Mr. Beache urged the public to do their part in taking responsibility for the conservation of the beaches and noted that many hoteliers on the island need to pay more attention to maintaining the environment on which their hotels are located.
He also said that while the SVG Tourism Authority is looking forward to a successful cruise ship season, it is essential that persons ensure that the environment is litter free.
