The Lions Club of St. Vincent South will host its Health Fair this weekend, which is part of the Club’s thrust to promote a healthy society.
Dr. Jose Davy, Registrar in the Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment, said the event will be held on Saturday September 24th at Miss Henry’s Shop in Caratal, Georgetown from 8AM to Noon.
Vincentians will have an opportunity to be more informed about Prostrate Cancer and will be have the opportunity to access a wide range of health checks.
Dr. Davy said according to international statistics, St. Vincent & the Grenadines is currently ranked seventh in the world for Prostate Cancer deaths.
