President of the Omnibus Association, Anthony ‘Code Red’ Bacchus, said efforts will be made to improve the safety of passengers using the services of minibus operators in St. Vincent & the Grenadines.
Mr. Bacchus said the association will be seeking to improve the driving skill of its members, as part of its thrust to improve road safety by encouraging the members to go to defensive driving classes so that they are able to ensure their safety and that of their passengers.
He also said that there is a need for increased regulations governing the operations of minibuses in St. Vincent & the Grenadines.
