Vincentians will this week have the opportunity to examine the progress being made in adult literacy in St. Vincent & the Grenadines through a series of activities to be hosted by the Adult and Continuing Education Division.
The activities, which commenced with a march this morning, will run through September 16th under the theme: ‘Education – A 21st century concept through the eyes of the adult’.
Instructor and Trainer at the Division, Rosmond Layne-Lorraine said assessments will also be conducted this week to ascertain the competency levels of adult learners and will seek to give the public a better understanding of the adult literacy programme.
