Health volunteers in St. Vincent and the Grenadines are now helping to curb the spread of the zika virus .
Concerned about the rise of zika, the Ministry of Health embarked on a mission of training volunteers to help in the fight of zika.
Minister of Health, Luke Browne says his ministry continues to work along with the volunteers as well as the public to eradicate the Aedes Aegypti Mosquito.
Additionally, the minister says the Ministry of Health is paying close attention to ensuring that medication is available to address the symptoms of Zika.He says the ministry knows what is required and they are putting measures in place to address mosquito-borne diseases in SVG.
