The St. Vincent Grammar School recorded a slight improvement in its Pass rates in the 2016 CXC – CSEC Examinations.
The school’s pass rate move to 94.54 this year compared to 94.49 last year.
The school recorded 100 percent passes in eleven subjects, ten subjects recorded percentage pass rates in the 90’s, three subjects had percentage passes in the 70’s while one subject had a 50% pass rate.
The Headmaster Curtis King said in a release that he is extremely pleased with the performance of the cohort of Form 4 students who were placed on a one year accelerated programme and wrote this year’s exams These 29 students were entered for Mathematics and recorded 29 passes with 20 grade ones, eight grade twos and a grade three.
