The Ministry of Education has revealed a slight decline in the performance of students at the 2016 Caribbean Advanced Proficiency –CAPE-Examinations.
The Ministry issued a release on Tuesday in which it said that the country realized an 87.10 per cent pass rate this year compared to 89.42 per cent in 2015.
A total of 591 candidates sat this year’s examinations, 526 of whom were from the SVG Community College and 65 private candidates.
