Vincentian, Nikalas Sylvester won his heat of the 50-metres Freestyle at the Rio Olympic Games yesterday.
Sylvester completed the heat in 24.64 seconds ahead of TIND-WEN-DE Thierry of Burkina Faso, second in 26.38 seconds, with MOUC-TAR and AL-BA-CHIR of Niger, third in 26.56 seconds.
However, Sylvester’s time could not win him a place in today’s Final in which the Swimmers with the best eight Qualifying times will compete.
