Public Sector Workers from throughout the Region will be taken on a tour of the Grenadine Island of Bequia today, as they conclude the 46th Annual Caribbean Public Services Association Conference.
The Conference, which was officially opened on Sunday evening at the Russell’s Auditorium, has as its theme: “Building stronger public service union through solidarity and unification”.
In his address at the opening, Minister of Labour Camillo Gonsalves said the Public Service Unions throughout the Region must have a genuine sense of unity, thorough which they can advance their collective and shared interests.
Throughout the week the delegates were involved in Business Sessions targeting Women, Men and Young People.
Delegates from Anguilla; Bahamas; Bermuda; Belize; Barbados; Dominica; Grenada; Guyana; Jamaica; St. Lucia; Trinidad and Tobago and St. Vincent and the Grenadines are attending the one-week Conference.
