WEFM Radio is holding its third Annual Youth Summer Reading Challenge this year, targeting young people ages 13 to 15.
The Reading Challenge seeks to build more confident readers by exposing them to training in Fluency, Confidence, Voice and Diction. It is also designed to expose teens to careers in Media.
The finalists in the challenge will all compete by reading the News LIVE On air on WEFM 99.9 in August.
Registration is currently open and interested students, parents and guardians can obtain forms at WEFM’s Kingstown or Questelles Office.
Applicants are asked to submit a short essay along with their registration forms on a given topic.
The deadline for submitting completed registration forms is Wednesday July 27, 2016.
