Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Saboto Caesar has stressed the need for young people to harness new opportunities in the Agricultural Sector.
The Minister was at the time addressing participants at a National Consultation to look at a draft Policy on Youth in Agriculture.
He said the introduction of the Youth in Agriculture Program is necessary and vital towards the sustainability of the Agricultural Sector.
The Caribbean Policy Development Centre was contracted by the Government to finalize the Youth in Agriculture Policy.
