A Vincentian is among Librarians and Archivists from Barbados and the Eastern Caribbean participating in the U.S. Department of State International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) running until July 1.
The U.S. Embassy in Barbados said in a new release that the group will travel to the United States for the 21-day program, which is designed to enhance participants’ knowledge and understanding of policies, best practices, and challenges for improving awareness and protection of Intellectual Property Rights (IPR).
The Vincentian participant is Donna Mason-McLean, Librarian at the National Public Library.
