Caricom which has established a Regional Commission on Marijuana will be discussing the Social, Economic, Health and Legal implications surrounding the use of marijuana this week.
The discussion will take place at three workshops and a National Consultation.
The workshops will be taking place this Wednesday June 15th at the Administrative Complex in Kingstown and will target faith-based organizations, interest groups and the youth.
These sessions will take place simultaneously, from nine in the morning, and will be followed by a National Town Hall from 7pm at the Methodist Church Hall in Kingstown.
It is expected that consensus from these national consultations will inform Caricom’s Policy on the use of the drug and its implications.
