Residents of North Leeward are in for a treat this weekend, as the North Leeward Sports and Cultural Association’s Carnival climaxes.
To kick start the weekend, this Friday six young ladies will vie for the title of Ms. North Leeward 2016. The show will take place at the Petit Bordel Hard Court.
During the Queen show, patrons will be entertained by a number of local acts, including the 2014 reigning Soca Monarch, Fireman Hooper, Secretary of the Association, Jodie Anthony says.
Anthony also notes that security will be in place, to ensure a safe and violent free Carnival.
The high point of the festivity will be a Street Jump up on Saturday morning.
