Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves has told parliament that the government will be taking steps towards restructuring the arrangements under the Petrocaribe energy program with Venezuela.
Dr. Gonsalves said this country’s debt under the Petrocaribe agreement currently stands at around 175 million EC dollars.
He also explained that the debt is currently being serviced from the ongoing flows of petrocaribe and not from consolidated funds.
