Digicel St. Vincent and the Grenadines is providing support to the Windward Carnival which was launched on Saturday at the Georgetown Primary School Grounds.
The company is pleased to be once more associated with this country’s premier national festival – Vincy Mas, Digicel’s Marketing Manager- Danielle Cupid said.
The rural activities such as the Windward Carnival is what make Vincy Mas the spectacle it is year after year, despite the main highlights of Vincy Mas which are scheduled for June 24th to July 5th 2016, Cupid said.
For that reason, Digicel SVG is please to support the Windward Carnival 2016, she added.
The 2016 Windward Carnival will include a night Mas component, targeting both male and female revelers, a Schools’ Pan, Calypso, Raga and Soca Monarch Competition, geared at exposing the talent of the rural students.
The Windward Carnival will kick in to high gear on the weekend of June 15th 2016.
