A Juma Gilkes hat-trick at the Grammar School Playing Field yesterday afternoon, propelled the Ministry of Tourism to a 3-1 victory over the Ministry of Education and earned the Tourism Ministry the 2016 Public Service 5-A-Side, Small Goal Football Title.
Gilkes put Ministry of Tourism ahead in the 3rd minute, before Diquan Pierre equalized for the Ministry of Education one minute before half time. Gilkes scored his other two goals in the second half.
He converted a total of 9 goals in the Championship to be leading goal scorer.
In the 3rd place playoff, Haj Barker scored twice, and Kalique Hunte a third, as Inland Revenue defeated a 3-member Ministry of National Security 3-nil.
