ASCO Youths and Star Girls won matches yesterday afternoon in the FLOW National Netball Championships at the Kingstown Netball Centre at New Montrose.
In Division 4, ASCO Youths made light work of Dr. Ackie Pacers beating them 31-6, while Stars Girls had to pull out all their energy and skills for their 33-30 victory over French Veranda X-ceed Sports Club in Division 2.
Over the next three days, the visiting Barbados Workers Union team will play a series of matches against local teams.
In the first two matches tomorrow, the Barbados Workers Union will meet Hill View at 5.00 p. m, and will come up against Sea Operations Nah Fren Dem at 6.00 p. m.
Friday’s matches will be between the Barbados Workers Union and Maple at 5.00 p. m, with the visitors playing against Cash Wiz Green Hill Sports Club at 6.00 p. m.
The series will end on Saturday when Barbados Workers Union will meet Dutch Lady Clinchers at 5.00 p. m, and will oppose French Veranda Ex-ceed Sports Club at 6.00 p. m.
All the matches will be played at the Kingstown Netball Centre at New Montrose.
