Vincentians and visitors have been assured that security will be strengthened during this year’s Carnival celebrations.
The assurance came from Assistant Commissioner of Police, Christopher Benjamin during a Media Conference hosted by the Carnival Development Corporation Media Conference.
ACP Benjamin said the local Police Force is committed to ensuring that Carnival patrons are safe.
He notified that during the carnival season there will be an increased police presence on the streets.
