The Second Meeting of the OECS Council of Ministers of Foreign Affairs was convened here yesterday at the Foreign Affairs Conference Room.
The Ministers met to discuss the development of new initiatives and strengthen policies that will enhance Foreign Relations.
At the start of the meeting, there was the formal handing over ceremony of the Chair of the OECS Council of Foreign Affairs Ministers.
In his address, Outgoing Chairman, Alva Baptiste from St. Lucia said ongoing efforts must be made by the Ministers to find solutions to the challenges that confront the region.
Meanwhile … Incoming Chairman, Sir Louis Straker urged the Ministers to remain committed to ensuring that the process of integration continues to be effected and economically and socially viable for all citizens.
