Justice Frederick Bruce Lyle who served as High Court Judge here for a number of years, was laid to rest on May 5th, 2016.
Government Officials, Members of the Judiciary, Family Members and other individuals turned out to pay their last respects to the Judge.
In his tribute to the late Judge, Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves described him as “a tremendous individual, a human being of the highest quality. An exceptional jurist gifted in the law, with a splendid temperament, great patience and the foresight of a Hebrew prophet”.
Other tributes were paid to the Justice Bruce Lyle including one from Justice Gertel Thom of the Court of Appeal of the Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court.
Justice Bruce Lyle died in Trinidad last month at the age of 62.
The Funeral Service took placed at the Cathedral of the Assumption. The interment was at the Kingstown Cemetery.
