Eight goals were scored yesterday at the Biabou Playing Field as Walveroo City defeated Biabou United 5-3 in the quarter-finals of the Hairoun Beer Biabou Knock-out Football Championship.
The star of the match was Jomo Gilkes who converted 4 goals including a hat-trick for Walveroo City. Their fifth goal came by way of an own by Biabou United for whom Jaden Jacobs scored 1 goal and Zenroy Lee netted two.
Another Knock-out quarter-final will be played this afternoon between S.V United and Brownstown United of Georgetown. The match will be played at the Biabou Playing Field and is scheduled to kick off at 4.15 p. m.
