Coordinator of the Caribbean Farmers’ Network (CaFAN), Jethro Greene, said a regional strategy aimed at improving productivity within the region agricultural sector is to be implemented here.
He spoke on this issue at the opening of a three-day workshop, hosted by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, as part of the Agricultural Policy Program (APP).
Mr. Greene said a coordinated effort is being facilitated throughout the region to better manage the production of various agricultural commodities.
Mr. Greene is encouraging all stakeholders to get on board to ensure the success of the initiative.
