The Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of 36-year-old Carlos Richardson of Ottley Hall, which occurred at Ottley Hall about 6:35 on Tuesday morning.
Reports are that the deceased received a gunshot wound to the upper right side of his back. He died on the spot.
A postmortem examination is expected to be performed on the body.
This is the 9th homicide of the year.
