The Youth Affairs Department in the Ministry of Mobilization and Social Development will this week host a one-day symposium for participants in the Youth Empowerment Service or YES Program.
This symposium is intended to provide in-service training to the participants, geared towards personal development.
A release from the Agency for Public Information (API) says the Training Program is also aimed at further enhancing the skills of the YES participants, through soft skills training. As well as promote a greater awareness on the international relations between St. Vincent and the Grenadines and the Republic of china on Taiwan on educational training and employment opportunities.
The workshop takes place on April 12th, 2016 at the Methodist Church Hall, commencing at 9:00 a.m.
It will be held under the theme “Empowering Vincentian Youth for the 21st Century Job Market”.
