Dubois Government School are the new Champions of Primary Schools Athletics.
At this year’s National Lotteries Authority/St. Vincent Brewery National Inter-Primary School’s Athletics Championships at the Arnos Vale Sports Complex yesterday, the Dubois Government School ran away with the Title, totaling 296 points ahead of the Layou Government School (241). Defending champions, Kingstown Preparatory School had to settle for third place with 240 points.
The outstanding Athletes at the Championships were: Nyana Fisher of DuBois Government School-28 points in the Girls 4-6 Age Group.
Ethan De Freitas of Park Hill Government School, 20 points in the Boys 4-6 Age Group.
Keshawna Alexander of the Sion Hill Government School, 18 points in the Girls 7-8 Age Group.
Joshua Harry also of the Sion Hill Government School, 22 points in the Boys 7-8 Age Group.
One’ Williams of the Du Bois Government School, 25 points in the Boys 9-10 Age Category.
Kareem Davis of the Kingstown Preparatory School, 25 points in the Boys 9-10 Age Category.
Ulanda Lewis of the Du Bois Government School, 46 points in the 11-15 Girls Age Category, and Jolani Barker of the Clare Valley Government School, 20 points in the Boys 11-15 Category.
The Inter-Secondary Schools Championships will be held today also at the Arnos Vale Sports Complex starting at 8:30 am.
