One of St. Vincent and the Grenadines top environmental official has pointed to the increasing need for alternative sources of water in order to meet the needs of Vincentians.
Superintendent of Marine and Terrestrial Parks at the National Parks, Rivers and Beaches Authority, Andrew Lockhart, made the point during NBC’s Face to Face program.
Mr. Lockhart said as existing water sources are impacted by the effects of climate change, it is becoming increasingly necessary to seek alternative sources to meet local demand.
