Vincentians have been reminded that crime is a societal problem; and no one individual or institution can effectively address such a problem.
Deputy Chair of the National Commission on Crime Prevention (NCCP) – Dr. George Frederick while speaking at the Pan Against Crime Initiative 8th anniversary concert in Calliaqua on Sunday, called on citizens to play their role in the continued fight against crime in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
Dr. Frederick also highlighted that in the year 2011, SVG saw a record low in the number of murders.
Meanwhile, Dr. George Frederick challenged Vincentians to continually work towards achieving peace in all that they do.
