TABLE TENNIS 2ND RANKING RESULTS
Veteran, Robert “BOB” Ballantyne won the Second Ranking Table Tennis Tournament held at the Bethel High Secondary School at Campden Park last weekend, defeating Sean Stanley twice in the two “Double Knock” out Final matches.
In the First match 4-11, 11-6, 11-9, 11-7 and in the rematch 11-4, 11-6, 11-7. The Tournament was played using the Double Knock-out System
Sean Stanley who played unbeaten in the winners section defeating Rodney Caruth, Romano Spencer and Joseph Carrington in the process earned the second place.
Damion Dublin defeated Romano Spencer 11-6, 2-11, 11-8, 8-11, 11-6 earned the third place.
NATIONAL NETBALL RESULTS
New Era Pepper Stars edged past Dr. Ackie Pacers 19-17 in Division (4) of the LIME National Netball Championship at the Kingstown Netball Center at New Montrose yesterday.
Also yesterday, Sea Operations Nar Fren Dem beat Star Girls 55-42 in Division (2).
The Championship will continue next Tuesday, following a break for the Easter Holidays.
HAIROUN BEER BIABOU FOOTBALL RESULTS
A goal each from Kemron Osment, Codale Cupid and Wayne Harper gave SV United of Georgetown a 3-nil victory over CUSAC Choppins United yesterday in the Hairoun Beer Biabou Football League at the Biabou Playing Field.
This afternoon at half past four, COMPUTEC Cane End will play against LP Boys of Georgetown also at the Biabou Playing Field.
