The SVG Retired Nurses Association and the SVG Nurses Association of New York Inc. have funded refurbishment works to be carried out on the Male Medical Ward at the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital.
In a release from the Ministry of Health it is noted that the project is an ongoing one and includes Painting of the ward; construction of 20 bedside cabinets; Replacement of damaged wooden louvers, as well as donation of kitchen utensils, pampers, shower curtains, cleaning supplies and medical supplies.
A formal handover ceremony will take place at the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital at one this afternoon, at the front of the Male Medical Ward.
The Ministry says President of the SVG Nurses Association Clari Gilbert will make the presentation to the Hospital Administrator, Grace Walters
