Head of the Criminal Investigation Department within the Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force- Superintendent Ruth Jacobs told NBC News that measures that were recently implemented by the police to address the increasing number of motor vehicle break-ins have been working.
Superintendent Jacobs said among the measures put in place by the police is increased patrols in a number of areas.
And Superintendent Jacobs is urging vehicle owners to ensure to park their vehicles in areas where proper security measures are in place to reduce break-ins.
