Former St. Vincent and the Grenadines Netball Shooter, Skiddy Francis-Crick of High Park United with (349) goals, emerged as the leading scorer in the just concluded 2016 Marriaqua Valley Netball Championship which ended on Sunday at the Richland Park Government School Hard Court.
The Seon Sween Award for the Best Defender went to National defender, Vasha Adams of LP Combined Girls of Georgetown. Jay-Juana Bacchus of 3J’s Valley Strikers was adjudged the Most Promising Player and received the Kenroy Peters Award. Youngest Player in the Championship, Teanna James also of 3J’s Valley Strikers. She received the Seon Sween Award.
The Most Disciplined Team was 3J’s Valley Strikers.
LP Combined Girls of Georgetown won the Title. Hard Knocks Boys were second with Berlin Strikers third.
