Twenty regional journalists are participating in a three-day workshop in Jamaica to enhance their skills in the current media workplace.
The workshop dubbed “Investigative Journalism In a Digital” which is being organized by Public Media Alliance in collaboration with The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO).
St. Vincent and the Grenadines is being represented by Recardo Wilson from NBC Radio.
Facilitator for the workshop, Brant Houston says this seminar is timely because the media continues change every day with technology having a great part to play in this development.
He said while finding sources for new is important, regional journalists should also ensure that the information which they report on is accurate.
He also noted that having a strong network of investigative journalists in the region is very important to ensure that the citizens of the region and the world are informed.
