Later today Governor General, Sir Frederick Ballantyne will present the Throne Speech on the occasion of the first session of the 10th Parliament of the House of Assembly.
Following the Throne Speech, Prime Minister and Minister of Finance Dr. Ralph Gonsalves will present his Budget Address.
The event takes place at the House of Assembly from 4:00pm.
Debate on the Budget will begin tomorrow morning.
The Budgetary Estimates for the fiscal year 2016 amount to 912-million, 897-thousand 311 dollars.
